2019 BEANTOWN TAPFEST

YOUTH INTENSIVE

MONDAY THRU THURSDAY // AUGUST 5 - 8, 2019

A four-day comprehensive training program designed

to educate the serious young tap student. Students, ages 10-20, will learn to interpret and incorporate rhythm, all for the purpose of enhancing future tap classes they take, choreography they perform, and improvisations they create.

We offer our YOUTH INTENSIVE curriculum at three levels,

Intermediate I, Intermediate II and Advanced, ensuring the right placement for all abilities. Our faculty includes professional musicians, giving students at every level the opportunity to work with live music.

The Youth Intensive advanced group* will perform in ON TAP - Beantown Tapfest Faculty Showcase, the festival's Main Stage show.

This year the guest choreographer is Jason Janas.

*This class size is limited and acceptance is by audition only (those previously accepted do not need to re-audition before registering).
