Beantown Tap Conservatory

Aug 15 - Aug 18

Beantown Tap Conservatory (ages 13 - 18) is a 4-day intensive training program designed to educate the serious tap student in a multidisciplinary environment. Students will learn to train their bodies, to interpret and incorporate rhythm, all for the purpose of enhancing future tap classes they take, choreography they perform, and improvisations they create. Selected by video audition, students will be given the opportunity to work in a small class setting with seven distinguished faculty throughout the week. BTC students will perform pieces by Michelle Dorrance and Lauren O‘Donnell at the 4:30 Saturday Studio Showcase. All classes listed below are included in the program. All classes take place at Boston Percussive Dance/Green Street Studios, 185 Green Street, Cambridge, MA
